Chairs for Affairs, originally established itself as a party rental company offering a wide range of chair types to accommodate many styles and themes for both indoor and outdoor events.

While Chairs for Affairs still prides itself on offering one of the largest inventories of chair rentals in the East Bay, we have since expanded our company to a full-service event design, party rental and coordination company, now offering a huge array of party rentals, props, tents, decor, catering concessions and more

The Chiavari chair, also known as the Chiavarina, or Tiffany chair, is a wooden chair of Lingurian design.

This simple and elegant design was originally created in 1807 by a cabinetmaker from Chivari on the Northwestern Italian Coast at the request of the president of the Economic Society of Chiavari.  The cabinetmaker reworked some chairs into this now well known French Empire Style. Little did this cabinetmaker know that these chairs would set the standard for elegant event seating for decades to come.  Seen at weddings, award shows and banquets Chiavaris create an iconic luxurious look and can be adorned with a sash, topper or flowers.
